Small Groups

We encourage you to visit these groups and connect with others through Faith.

Monday School is just what the name implies. We meet each Monday at 7:00PM in the “ASK” Classroom. The small group is open to all and we’re usually engaged in a Christian study series where open discussion and commentary is the norm. We actively support various ministries and missions like UMCOR, Christmas meals for needy families, Backpack program, etc.

Occasionally, we visit and sing hymns with shut-ins and nursing homes in the community. And of course, we always enjoy taking in a meal and/or a movie when the opportunity presents itself. Come, visit, and see for yourself. Monday School may be just the small group for you!

Adult Fellowship is a group primarily made up of retired individuals who enjoy fellowship with one another.  They meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the Brian Ray Holland Fellowship hall at 12:00pm noon for a small, covered dish meal as well as games, Bible study, and sometimes musical entertainment.  On many occasions, they’ll even travel to different restaurants for lunches together.

“MUTS” (Men United To Serve) a men’s bible study group that participates in studies that are typically six – eight weeks long. They recently studied Max Lucado’s “Outlive Your Life”. They meet every other Wednesday in the Manual Classroom at 6:30. Andy Rouse is the contact person.

United Methodist Women at Sedge Garden consists of three “circles.” Each circle varies slightly, but all three welcomes every woman – whether a United Methodist or not – to visit each circle to find the best “fit” for her. > more
